Farnham Store Fun – Saucony Ride ISO 2km Challenge!

As you know by now, we love an event at Alton Sports! We also love new running shoes. We also love running. We are also big fans of pizza. We are also fans of free T-shirts. What happens if you combine all of these into one evening at our Farnham Store? Then you get the Saucony Ride ISO 2km Challenge!

We had the pleasure of welcoming Saucony UK along to our Farnham Store. The plan was to try on the new Ride ISO 2 but they also brought along the Omni ISO 2 for people to try… this is because the Omni is a supportive shoe and the Ride is neutral. It’s good to cater for everyone! Alan our Farnham Store manager concocted a 2km loop out the store and we were ready to test the shoes out!

Running is hard work isn’t it? And it’s only fair that when we run races, we are rewarded with PBs and medals. And at Alton Sports, we think it’s only fair to rewards our event guests with free tees and pizza… thanks to Saucony for bringing the good times!

As always, it was great to see lots of runners of all ages and abilities turn up! After all, running is for everyone and is the most inclusive sport going. Well done to everyone who came and ran, and who also ran some extra loops! The general feedback on the shoes was “comfy, cushioned and sexy.” We think they’re ideal high mileage training shoes and if you’re already a fan of Saucony or you’re looking for something new, then you won’t be disappointed with these additions.

You can check the men’s Ride ISO 2 here and the women’s here.

Lots more events coming soon, keep an eye on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
